Some things to consider

Deciding that you need a website for your business is only the first step. To get to the finished product there must be a lot of thought and consideration initially from you and your web design team. Depending on the size and complexity of your website it can take anywhere from a few days to a few months to complete.

* Do you currently have a domain name?

* The reason for the website (What do you expect the website to do for your business, simple web presence or to draw in more customers?)

* Who is your target audience? (Demographics)

* Is your site going to need a shopping cart for people to make purchases from your website?

* Does the site need to have a secure certificate?

* Do you want or need forms for customers to fill out and submit online? If yes, how many forms will be needed and will the forms need to be secure?

* Do you want images on your website? If yes, do you already have the images. If you do not have the images you may want on your website where will you be acquiring them from?

* Do you have your own logo that you would like to add to your site or do you need one created for you?

* Do you have your own content you want to add to your site or will you hire someone for content creation?
